K-Rated Sliding Crash Gate

K12 Sliding Crash Gate NMSB XX

K-Rated Sliding Crash Gate

The NMSB XX is a cantilevered sliding crash gate for high-threat security facilities. The NMSB XX is DOS rated to stop a 15,000-pound vehicle traveling at 50 mph. The average barrier opening is 12ft. Clear opening sizes from 12 ft. to 24 ft. are available. The Sliding Gate Assembly contains three main components: Gate Support Frame Assembly, Barrier Gate Assembly and Receiver Assembly. This barrier can be manually operated, or controlled using an electro-hydraulic or all electric motor. Typical power for this barrier is 115-480V, 1 or 3 phase, 50hz or 60hz.

    Two power options are available:
  • Integrated electric power unit (EPU)
  • Remote electro-hydraulic power unit (HPU)

Removable Bollards

The Nasatka NMSB-VI-R is a removable-bollard system available as single units designed to allow maximum flexibility in traffic control design, without incurring the cost of retractable bollard materials, controls and installation.

The NMSB-VI-R removable bollards are available as engineer-rated K12, K8 and K4.

The Bollard Assembly height is 36 in. above ground level.

Bollard covering options include:

• Plastic coverings
• Powder coat colors
• Decorative aluminum casts

The NMSB VI-R bollards are manually removed by releasing a locking pin located near the base of the bollard.

Removal requires, at minimum, two people and a lifting tool capable of holding the weight of the bollard, which will vary, based on the engineered K-rating and bollard cover-type used. A chain or lift strap can be placed through the top of the bollard to lift and move the bollard to a holding area or bollard rack.

Manual Operable Bollards

NMSB VI-M (K4, K12)

NMSB VI-M (K4, K12)

The Nasatka NMSB-VI-M is a manually, retractable-bollard system available as single units or banks of 3 or 4 units.

The NMSB-VI-M manual retractable bollards are available as DOS K12 L2 certified or engineer-rated K8 and K4.

The bollard assembly height is 36 in. above ground level.

Bollard covering options include:

• Plastic coverings
• Powder coat colors
• Decorative aluminum casts

The NMSB VI-M bollards are manually lowered by releasing a pin lock, they are manually raised using two options (selected when ordering the bollard):

• Cordless drill
• Manual lift and lock, using 1 or 2 people to lift the bollard and lock it in a secure position

Retractable Bollards

NMSB VI (K4, K8, K12)

NMSB VI (K4, K8, K12)

The Nasatka NMSB-VI is a retractable-bollard system available as single units or banks of 3 or 4 units.

The NMSB-VI retractable-bollards are crash test certified DOS K12/L2. This is equivalent to ASTM M50/P2.

Nasatka also manufactures the NMSB VI with K4 and K8 engineer-ratings.

The bollard assembly height is 36 in. above ground level for K4 and K8 and 1 meter (3.28ft) for the ASTM M50 P2 bollard(s).

Optional Bollard covering options include:

• Decorative aluminum casts
• Plastic coverings
• Powder coat colors
• Embedded LED Lighting

Several operator options are available with Nasatka retractable bollards:

• Integrated electro-hydraulic power unit (HPU) based self-contained operator
• Remote electro-hydraulic unit (HPU) operator
• Manual Operation (see manual operable bollards page)

The bollards will travel to the fully closed and secure position in approximately three to five seconds under normal operating conditions.

The emergency up (EFO) function of the NMSB Model VI brings the bollards to the secure position in approximately 1-2 seconds.

Fixed Bollards

NMSB VI-F (K4, K12)

NMSB VI K12/K8/K4 Fixed Shallow Mount Bollards

The Nasatka NMSB VI-F is a fixed-bollard system available in a variety of configurations, including single bollard, banks of 2, 3, 4, and more.

The NMSB-VI-F bollard line features crash-tested and engineer-rated designs.

NMSB VI-F bollards are available in several bollard heights.

Bollard covering options include:

• Plastic coverings
• Powder coat colors
• Decorative aluminum casts
• Machined or polished stainless steel

Bolt Down Crash Beam Gate

The NMSB XII-B is an engineer-rated, bolt-down crash-beam designed to stop a 10,000-pound vehicle traveling at 18 mph. It works as a stand-alone system for facilities not requiring K-rated barriers. The NMSB II-B crash beam is ideal for traffic control locations such as parking garages, parking lots, rental car facilities and short/long term airport parking facilities.

Two power options are available:

  • Integrated electric power unit (EPU)
  • Remote electro-hydraulic power unit (HPU)
