CLINTON, Md. – (September 20, 2011) – Maryland-based Nasatka Security, announced that Ralph Nasatka, founder and CEO, will be seeking a less active role with daily operations and has appointed former Vice President of Global Sales and trusted industry veteran, John Scolaro, as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.

“When I came on after the 9/11 incident, the industry was spiking and Nasatka exploded almost overnight. My background was in production, sales and international business, so my entry point into Nasatka was perfect to say the least. We have big plans for growth with a unique reorganization that has taken place over the past 12 months,” said Scolaro.

Scolaro has a well-versed and impressive background on the international business front. A jetsetter with worldly experience and business perspectives, Scolaro is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and competent in Taiwanese. With an impressive list of potential clients, Scolaro stated he is ready to “divide and conquer” on the global sales front.

Nasatka’s well-timed selection of Scolaro as CEO comes with a new direction and some fresh faces in the management structure, including the naming of former Oracle Executive, David Natelson, as President and Chief Operating Officer.

“Natelson’s responsibilities will include a strong leadership role in defining and executing a new corporate strategy, focused on improved product and service offerings for Nasatka’s global customers,” affirmed Scolaro.

Natelson brings over 25 years of technology, executive management, product development, consulting and marketing experience in the security and technology fields. Prior to becoming President of Nasatka, Natelson spent over 15 years in Oracle Corporations Public Sector Sales Organization including Vice President of State and Local Applications Sales from 2001 to 2005. From 2006 to 2008, he was the Vice President of Sales at Vumii, Incorporated,, a Night Vision and Perimeter focused startup.

For the past 12 months, Nasatka Security has worked to reorganize several areas within their company and most recently rebranded their service offerings from solely barrier protection to complete security integration solutions.
