CLINTON, Md. – (June 28, 2011) – Clinton-based, Nasatka Security, formerly Nasatka Barrier announced today their transition from a traditional barrier company to a provider of complete security solution integration. This announcement follows a successful new product launch at the Force Protection Equipment Demonstration (FPED) show in Stafford, Va.
Newly appointed Nasatka CEO, John Scolaro, said, “I have been lucky enough to be an integral part of the Nasatka family for the past seven years, and worked side-by-side with one of the great minds behind numerous patents in the vehicle barrier industry. For over 30 years, Korean War Veteran and Nasatka founder, Ralph Nasatka, has led the company and built a reputation as an industry leader in perimeter security. With his blessing, we are ready to follow his mission by expanding as an all-inclusive security solutions provider.”
From its humble beginnings in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area around 1975 to its busiest production schedule post 9/11, the 35-year-old security company has been focusing on the importance of strategic partners when approaching preventative security and new technologies that will not only provide vehicle barrier security, but all forms of ultimate perimeter security.
Scolaro later stated, “The evolution of the company was inevitable, and our new management and direction will prove this was the right move for Nasatka Security.”
Additional security solutions will include:
- Infrastructure and perimeter security enhancements
- Information technology
- Biometrics and RFD – CCTV and video surveillance
- Industrial fencing
- Design and construction
- Serial or IP sensor integration
The Nasatka reorganization of sales, partner programs, information technology, manufacturing and R&D had taken place over the past 12 months with the goal of increasing the depth and breadth of Nasatka’s solutions used by high-profile government and commercial clients.
