Mobile Vehicle Barrier (Towable) 12ft opening
The NMSB XV is a 12 ft. clear-opening mobile barrier used for severe-threat, security areas requiring versatile perimeter protection. The NMSB XV can be towed behind a standard pickup truck and deployed in under 12 minutes. This unit, standalone and non-anchored, is certified to stop a 15,000-pound vehicle traveling at 30 mph. The barrier clear opening is 12 ft. (3.66 meters). In the up position, the top of the barrier is 31 in. (78.7 cm) above the ground. All Nasatka mobile barriers are hot-dip galvanized for years of service.
The hydroelectric operator system uses biodegradable hydraulic oil within its self-contained, integrated housing unit. Standard barrier deployment time is three to five seconds. No weight restrictions are placed on vehicles traveling over this barrier. This barrier does not require excavation, thus does not mark or damage the roadway surface.
